No, GiftedMeals.com is a free platform for organizers and recipients. There is a cost to donate meals, outlined on the meal donation page. Creating and supporting a Meal Campaign page is always free.
GiftedMeals.com uses the very best in secure payment encryption technology. Your donors’ online payments are safe, no payment is processed until the minimum meal threshold is achieved and the meals are not shipped until the recipient requests them. All donations are processed securely using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer encryption or SSL.
Once your Meal Campaign deadline arrives, the recipient will be notified as to how many meals were donated. They’ll also receive an occasion card noting who donated meals and a menu so they can order the meals they prefer. They then place their order and the meals will be delivered within 2-3 days.
Yes. Generally, when there is a need for food the need is fairly urgent so we offer donation timelines of 14 days and up, however meals can be ordered at any time provided the minimum threshold of 6 meals or more is met. Once the deadline arrives, we start the process to get the recipient’s meals on the way as soon as possible. If there is a need for additional meal donations, simply create a new campaign for the same recipient and we can send additional meals. If there is a long-term need contact us to setup a special admin account that allows for a long-term donation page.
Reaching the goal is not required. With GiftedMeals.com, as long as 6 or more meals are donated the recipient will receive the meals. If there are less than 6 meals donated by the deadline, the page will be voided and no one will be charged. We send you a reminder as the deadline nears so you can reshare with everyone to make sure you get to that minimum threshold.
Your page will be able to accept donations even after the goal is reached. Once the goal is reached, the progress meter will show that you have received more than your goal amount but will continue to accept donations.

Yes. Just enter your information as the recipient and all information normally sent to the recipient will be sent to you to coordinate with the recipient to get them their meals.
The meals are shipped as requested by the recipient once the donation deadline has arrived. The recipient can request the meals right away or schedule them to be delivered at a time they deem appropriate. The meals are shipped via FedEx and UPS and typically arrive in a box with a combination of ice and or dry ice, and will arrive within 2-3 days of shipping.
GiftedMeals.com does not accept monetary donations nor do we charge any additional percentage fees. We simply accept orders for meal donations and facilitate getting the meals to the recipient.
You can change your information anytime in your user profile. Log into your GiftedMeals.com account and click your profile to make changes or update information. You can also login and make changes to your Meal Credit Account.
When you first create your Meal Campaign page, you will receive an email confirmation from us welcoming you to share your page with friends and family. This email contains the link to your Meal Campaign page for you to copy and paste into any messages, emails, or social media posts to your potential supporters. You can also copy the link when you are on your Meal Campaign page from your web browser’s address bar and paste that into any messages, emails, or social media posts. There is also a section of your Meal Campaign page that offers options for quickly inviting support via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Email. You can copy your page’s link from this section also.
Anyone who has your page URL will be able to access your campaign page and campaign pages can also be found through our search field.
Search by the page title, for example ‘supporting the Meyers family’. If you can’t find the page, you may need to get the direct link / URL from the page’s organizer. You can also search All Active Campaigns.
Donations made on GiftedMeals.com are not tax-deductible.
